Service Ministries

Sharing their talents as bakers, these volunteers-both men and women - of the parish prepare and supply home baked goods for special parish celebrations and events.

Christian Service
This committee of parishioners meets monthly to serve the temporal need and provides service to those of our parish community and beyond. As a group they participate, on a regular basis, with the "Morris County Interfaith Homeless Shelter" and the yearly "Crop Walk for hunger. They organize a parish wide Thanksgiving food basket collection, supervise distribution of "Pennies for the Poor," arrange a Christmas gift collection for the Lincoln Park Nursing homes, and coordinate our "Adopt a Family" for Christmas effort. They also participate in the Lincoln Park Food Pantry.

Church Care
The members of the parish who help clean and care for the church comprise this ministry. They tend to the weekly cleaning of the church interior, its flowers, plants and the laundering of altar linens. They also assist with decorating the church for special seasons.

Clerical Help
This group of volunteers responds when extra assistance is needed in the parish office to help answer the telephone, assembling mailings and performing other clerical duties.

Finance Committee
The committee has the responsibility of advising the Pastor on the fiscal policies of the parish. They assist in the creation of the budget for the parish and the financial report that must be submitted to the Diocese of Paterson. The committee also helps in the special fundraisers the parish conducts to meet extraordinary needs.

Fund Raising & Golf Outing
This committee is responsible for the coordination of the various fund raising programs such as the golf outing, calendar raffles and other programs.
