First Eucharist/First Penance

The children receive First Eucharist in the second grade as a group in the month of May at a Saturday Liturgy. Through classroom and home instruction, "Jesus Retreat Days", parent meetings and special Sunday liturgies the children grow in their knowledge of Eucharist.

Children make their First Penance before First Eucharist at a penance service. Individual confessions are heard in the Penance room after which individual absolutions and individual penance are given.
